The Director is responsible for making the EVVYs broadcast come to life by translating the realism of the stage into a creative broadcast.They must creatively interpret scripts, conduct technical rehearsals, and efficiently direct the activities of the control room and beyond in order to make the EVVYs broadcast a successful viewing experience. The Director must also be able to blend broadcast and single camera shoots in order to create a seamless tone over the course of the show. They must also be able to constantly effectively communicate with the producers so that the collective creative vision of the EVVYs can be universally represented within the same manner. They are expected to attend weekly meetings that include management and other technical staff, and be available full time during both the Gala and Majestic technical weeks. The Director will be responsible for the following:

• Hiring/Managing the Control Room
• Attending MULTIPLE weekly production meetings
• Attending Rehearsals for performances/skits
• Creating Camera Plots
• Hosting/Scheduling necessary meetings to communicate with staff
