Theatrical Technical Director

The Theatrical Technical Director will act as a liaison between the aesthetic team and the company constructing our set to communicate the scenic design accurately and assist the company in drafting and constructing the set effectively within budget. Duties will also include: facilitating load-in and strike (general crew, VDA, soft goods, loading weight), coordinating with the Production Electricians and Theatrical Production Supervisor to hire a General Theater Crew to help execute the load in and strike during production week. They will work with the Theatrical Production Supervisor, Production Electrician, Audio Managers, and Production Manager to create a load in, tech, and strike schedule. AutoCAD or Vectorworks knowledge is preferred. Must attend weekly production staff meetings, design team meetings, and be available for on-site company visits and full time during Majestic production week.
