Works With: Producers, Talent, Hair and Makeup, Costume, Broadcast Director, Tech Managers, Writers, Script Supervisor, Production Supervisor.

The Stage Manager leads and controls the stage during tech week, leading rehearsals and keeping to a schedule that allows the talent and tech to have plenty of preparation before our broadcast. They be a strong leader and create a positive yet efficient atmosphere that allows for everyone to share the stage collectively in order to make the show a success. The Stage Manager is responsible for the following:

• Hiring/Managing a team of Assistant Stage Managers (ASMs)
• Leading/Creating a strong yet positive environment during tech week
• Coordinating with producers and talent to attend necessary rehearsals
• Managing stage communications and coordinating necessary equipment with the rest of the tech team
• Manage a schedule during tech week for rehearsals, setup, etc.
