Production Electrician

Works With: Executive Producer, Lighting Designer, Theater Production Supervisor

The Production Electrician is responsible for the physical execution of the lighting design for the  production. Works with the Lighting Designers to prepare, hang, connect and focus the stage lighting fixtures. They must coordinate with other teams to ensure that proper wattage/amperage regulations are met, and that power sources exist for extraneous gear, throughout the space. The PE(s) will source equipment rentals and coordinate with rental company about delivery times and load in/ strike details. They will acquire information for special effects permit if the lighting designers request it and work with the TPS to acquire a permit. Vectorworks experience is preferred. Must attend weekly production staff meetings and be available full time during Gala and Majestic production week.
