Production Electrician

Reports to: Aesthetics Producer

Works With: Producer, Lighting Designer, Scenic Designer, Theatrical Technical Director, Stage Manager

Anticipated Start Date: August 25th, 2025 (subject to change)

This position is open until filled, with priority given to applications submitted by August 15th, 2025

The Production Electrician is responsible for the physical execution of the lighting design for the production. They will work with the Lighting Designer to prepare, hang, connect and focus the stage lighting fixtures.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

•  Prepare, hang, connect and focus the stage lighting fixtures.
• They must coordinate with other teams to ensure that proper wattage/amperage regulations are met, and that power sources exist for extraneous gear, throughout the space. 
• Will source equipment rentals and coordinate with the UPM about delivery times and load in/strike details. 
• They will acquire information for special effects permit if the lighting designers request it and work with the Producer to acquire a permit.
• Vectorworks experience is preferred.
• Must attend weekly production staff meetings and be available full time during Majestic production week.
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
